*Please be aware that our shields are not cosmetic products and come to you with as minimal processing as possible. If you see markings or oil marks on your shield, they are likely from the manufacturing process which is the most accurate and ideal way to manufacture our products (less chance of errors or mistakes please see the following for more info https://catshield.com/blogs/news/catalytic-converter-shield-manufacturing-process). Please note that there are two sides to the shield and one side will never be visible because it will face the vehicle and may have more markings than the other side. Most of the automated movement, bending, and other processes are done on the "business" side of the shield, which helps the other side have less imperfections. We do our best to make our shields as visibly pleasing as possible, however, our #1 priority is to make the best shield that is affordable. Any further processing or finishing on the shield will be a waste of our time and your money because the shield is designed to be underneath your vehicle and be constantly facing the road and debris from it.
